Litigation & Appellate Support & Worker Comp Attorney

Hamilton Miller & Birthisel LLP is seeking an experienced Litigation and Appellate Support Attorney as well as a Workers Compensation Attorney to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for talented attorneys with substantial civil litigation and appellate experience to play a key role in supporting our cases.

Responsibilities:

• Draft persuasive appellate briefs and writ petitions across various practice areas
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of complex appellate issues
• Evaluate trial court records and transcripts to identify errors for appeal
• Provide comprehensive litigation support, including pretrial motion writing, legal research, document review, and trial preparation
• Argue appeals and motions before state and federal appellate courts
• Collaborate with trial teams to develop effective case strategies for appeals

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree and membership in good standing with the Florida Bar
• 5-7 years of appellate litigation experience OR workers compensation
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple litigation and appellate matters simultaneously
