Wound Care RN Responsibilities
- Manage preventativewound programs and wound treatment programs
- Complete woundanalysis reports
- Provides educationregarding wound management, prevention of pressure ulcers, support surfaces,dressing selections, and other therapies
- Conduct wound roundsto residents to monitor resident status and progress
- Administer prescribedmedication and procedures as necessary
- Notify other nursingpersonnel of any change in skin / woundcondition of residents
- Perform any servicesor assignments within the scope of practice of a wound care RN
