Hamilton Physical Therapy is looking to add to our team!
We have identified three key characteristics that we are looking for in a physical therapy aide and customer service specialist. First, a positive person! We believe anything can be accomplished with a positive attitude. Second, a person who demonstrates intelligent communication skills with patients as well as with other staff members. Finally, a person who is dedicated. We like to say we are open on Friday because people need our help every day of the week.
Our new team member must be able to multi-task, be computer/tech savvy, not afraid to ask questions, and always try to be one step ahead. This position needs to be held by someone who is a team player and always wishes to help out their co-workers.
Schedule :
-Part-time: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10:00-4:00. Possibility of extra hours for time off coverage
Non-exhaustive list of responsibilities below:
- Answer incoming patient inquiries via phone or in person in a positive, professional and courteous manner
- Maintain patient records accurately with data entry in our EMR
- Work collaboratively with other clinics to ensure patients get the care they need
- Assist providers with PT Aide duties such as laundry, stocking treatment rooms, taking out the garbage, etc.
- Opening the clinic and/or closing the clinic
Requirements:
- Assist Physical Therapists with PT aide duties
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Comfortable with using computer systems and software programs
- Display of positive demeanor
