Groundskeeper
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking groundskeeper to maintain the lawns and landscaping at two mobile home parks in the Morgantown, WV area.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Mowing, trimming, and edging grass areas
- Removing weeds and maintaining flower beds (if applicable)
- Cleaning up leaves and debris
- General upkeep of common outdoor areas
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1year previous experience as a porter or similar function is preferred for this position.
Required Licenses
- Current driver license and automobile insurance.
Requirements
- Experience with lawn maintenance equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis; Overtime may be required for this position.
- Attention to detail and commitment to keeping the parks clean and well-maintained
- Reliable transportation
- Travel between properties will be required.
Physical Demands
- Standing, walking, and/or sitting for extended periods of time.
- Frequent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and handling.
Work Environment
- Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions (temperatures may vary depending on the weather in the different regions).
- Exposure to noise, vibrations, atmospheric conditions, as well as working in confined or restricted spaces.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
