We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Clinical Team Lead to join our dynamic dental practice. Pay Scale: 35 / Hr. DOE
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the clinical team in daily operations, ensuring compliance with protocols and procedures.
- Assist in orthodontic procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Implement and uphold infection control standards and aseptic techniques throughout the practice.
- Train and mentor new staff members on systems such as Open Dental effective patient management.
- Collaborate with the orthodontic team to develop treatment plans and provide exceptional patient care.
- Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Conduct regular audits of clinical practices to ensure compliance with established protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in dental assisting, preferably within an orthodontic setting.
- Familiarity with Dentrix and Epic software systems is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality and medical records management.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
