Job Summary
Hamilton-Ryker is seeking a highly skilled Lead Aerial Lineman to join our team. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for directing crew members in the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber lines and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise crew members in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber lines and systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Train and develop crew members to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in utility construction, with a focus on fiber optics.
- Proven track record of supervising crew members and ensuring safe working practices.
- Class A CDL and proficiency in operating aerial equipment.
- GO 95 and NESC certifications.
- Flagging, CPR, Forklift, Bucket truck, and Manlift certifications.
Working Conditions
Work will be performed in the field, in various weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and have good hand and finger dexterity.
