Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU
- Monitor vital signs and conduct thorough assessments of patient conditions
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to create and implement care plans
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments with precision
- Educate and support families in understanding and caring for their infants
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a level 3-4 NICU setting
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced clinical environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Educational background includes an Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
