What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1.0 FTE School Psychologist position at Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District?
The Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District is seeking a 1.0 FTE School Psychologist. This position is primarily evaluation. A Ph.D. or Psy.D., licensed school psychologist is preferred.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
•Student assessment including administration of psychological evaluations of cognitive skills, attention, memory, social-emotional functioning and student observations. Occasion need to include academic achievement testing
*Write comprehensive evaluation reports
•Participation in special education team meetings, counseling and crisis intervention
*Ability to effectively review and explain evaluation results in a manner that staff, parents, and students will understand
•Consultation with school and district administration, special education coordinators, related service providers, general and special educators, and parents as needed.
•Involvement and consultation regarding behavioral plans and interventions, as needed
•Other duties as deemed necessary by Director of Student Services
