Hamilton West Windsor Acupuncture is a family-owned practice serving the Hamilton, NJ area since 1998. With two acupuncturists—a father-daughter duo—and a dedicated front desk team, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming environment for our patients. As the first and last point of contact for our patients, our receptionists play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience. We are looking for an energetic, compassionate, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a morning shift receptionist.
About the Position:
The morning shift begins at 9:00 AM, with responsibilities including opening the office, checking messages, and preparing for patients who start arriving at 9:45 AM. On busier days, you’ll work alongside another team member during your shift. Our office hours are from 9:45 AM to approximately 7:00 PM.
Daily Operations:
· Open treatment rooms and front lobby.
· Listen to and respond to messages received after hours.
· Manage and adjust acupuncturists schedules as needed.
· Make reminder calls to patients.
· Greet patients with a smile and positive attitude as they arrive and check out.
· Answer telephones in a pleasant and timely manner with a “smile” in your voice.
· Schedule and confirm appointments for new and returning patients, as well as explain and schedule appointments for new patients.
· Reach out to patients who have not scheduled their next visit.
· Collect payments for services and input into the system.
Education and Experience Requirements:
· High school diploma required.
· At least one year of experience in a medical office or a customer-facing role is preferred.
· Experience with marketing is a bonus.
