Hamister Group, LLC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Vice President of Operations to join our leadership team. As we continue to scale and expand, this role will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of our business operations, optimizing efficiency, and helping us achieve our growth objectives.
As EVP of Operations, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that business processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the organization’s long-term strategic goals. You will work closely with and report directly to the CEO to develop and execute operational strategies that drive performance, enhance profitability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
The role will work from our corporate office located in Buffalo, NY and will require some travel. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned operations leader to make a direct impact on the company’s success and play a key role in shaping its future.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Oversee the organization’s daily operations, ensuring smooth execution across all functions, including customer service, sales, marketing, HR and IT systems.
Strategic Planning: Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to develop and implement strategies that align operational goals with overall company objectives.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement initiatives to streamline business processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
Team Management & Development: Lead and mentor senior operational managers, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional growth.
Financial Stewardship: Monitor and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and adherence to financial goals.
Customer Focus: Ensure that operational strategies are aligned with customer needs, optimizing service delivery, and driving customer satisfaction.
Growth & Scalability: Lead initiatives to scale operations in response to growth, ensuring that the company can efficiently meet increasing demand while maintaining quality.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in operations management, with a proven track record in senior-level roles such as VP, Director, or COO. Experience in Senior Housing and/or Hospitality is a MUST.
Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and inspire teams, develop talent, and foster a culture of accountability and high performance.
Operational Expertise: Deep knowledge of business operations, process optimization, supply chain management, and systems integration.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management.
Strategic Vision: Proven ability to develop and execute long-term operational strategies that align with overall business goals.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to make data-driven decisions.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable leveraging technology, data analytics, and ERP systems to drive operational improvements.
