Bacon, eggs and more – oh my! Chantilly Heights Senior Living is hiring for a Line Cook/Chef and we are hungry for your culinary skills!
No long nights in the kitchen! The hours of this position are 6:00am-2:00pm and 10:00am-6:00pm.
In this position you will be expected to:
Prepare or direct the preparation, seasoning and cooking of all salads, soups, fish, meats, vegetables, dessert and all other foods
Prior cooking experience and knowledge of special diets, seasoning requirements, cooking times and temperate controls
Communicate and work efficiently with other dietary and healthcare staff to ensure accuracy in a fast paced, high stress environment
Adhere to all food handling and hygiene practices
Accurately estimate quantities of food required and utilize leftovers properly to reduce waste
Prepare restaurant quality, nutritionally balanced and attractively served meals, our goal is to provide the best food and service to our residents.
Minimum Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED.
Prior cooking experience.
Ability to prepare and cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
