Hilton Garden Inn Evansville is seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator/ Front Desk Agent to join our dynamic team! This is a hybrid position - Sales 3 days per week and front desk 2 days per week. The Sales Coordinator assists the Area Director of Sales in all sales activities and is responsible for performing administrative tasks related to renting meeting space and facilitating group reservations. As a Guest Services Representative, you will assist guests with checking in and checking out of the hotel, answer phone calls, make reservations and ensure an overall memorable stay for our guests.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Respond to all incoming calls and emails in a timely manner.
*Execute contracts for meeting space and group reservations.
* Maintain sales activity documentation in Delphi.
* Monitor cut off dates, enter rooming lists and conduct courtesy calls for groups.
* Conduct site tours.
* Process charges for meeting room events.
* Respond to Hotel Planner, Meeting Broker and other event lead sites as required.
* Assist with set up and tear down of meeting room events.
SKILLS:
* Excellent Communicator
* Independent/ Self Reliant in setting priorities and determining objectives.
* Experience preferred with computer systems such as Delphi and event lead sites such as Meeting Broker/ Hotel Planner.
