The Role:
As Medical Director, you will be responsible for leadership, quality assurance, and overall medical management of the clinic. Your key responsibilities will include planning, organizing medical and clinical practices; providing direct patient care; assisting other departments with interactions with physicians or medical staff; overseeing quality, efficiency, and management of delivering medical services within the clinic; defining protocols and decision-making regarding medical care of patients consistent with current medical practice and CTC policies.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the quality, efficiency, and delivery of medical services within the clinic
- Define protocols and assist in decision-making regarding medical care of patients
- Provide oversight to other professional medical staff and administrative support staff
- Serve as a liaison between medical staff, other clinic staff, division/corporate staff, and organizational leadership
- Monitor assigned staff adherence to established medical and clinic policy
- Provide backup call coverage
- Serve in a teaching capacity for training and development of other personnel
- Maintain current medical records according to federal/state regulations and clinic/policy procedures
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO)
- Previous experience in behavioral health, substance use (SUD) treatment, and/or MAT program required
- No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment
