Position Title: General Maintenance Technician
Location: Hamlin Collegiate ISD
Salary: Depending on Experience
Length of work schedule: 12 months
Position Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate effectively
Knowledge of basic construction, electrical, plumbing, routine building and vehicle/bus maintenance and repair procedures
Ability to work independently
Follow routine and preventive maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds
Clear and valid Texas Driver's License, and CDL Passenger and School Bus endorsements)
Experience: 5 years in general maintenance operations preferred
Job Description: Perform general maintenance and repair of building structures and their mechanical, electrical, and sanitary systems throughout district in order to maintain physical school plant in excellent operating condition so that full educational use may be made at all time.
