What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credit Risk Auditor position at Hamlyn Williams?
We are partnered with an FBO, looking to hire an AVP/VP Credit Risk Auditor to join their US team located in New York.
This role does not have any direct reports, but will hold responsibility for managing and running audits covering credit risk and lending, ensuring compliance with audit policies, professional and regulatory standards. You'll perform continuous monitoring activities, maintain work papers, and contribute to audit process improvements.
Required Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or similar
- 5 years’ of audit experience from a financial services firm, ideally within a big 4 firm or bank
- Strong understanding of commercial banking, credit and lending activities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Completed or have a desire to complete a professional certification such as CIA, CPA, etc.
