What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of FCC and Sanctions Testing position at Hamlyn Williams?
Hamlyn Williams is partnered with a Banking Institution looking to hire a Head of AML/ Sanctions Testing.

What you will be doing:
- Managing multiple testing activities across the Americas, sitting in the second line of defense. You will assume full responsibility for the AML/Sacntions Compliance Testing team.
- You will design and implementation of a risk-based regulatory compliance monitoring & testing framework to provide independent, risk-based monitoring and testing of our clients Compliance programs.
- Producing the annual Monitoring and Testing plan, ensuring coverage for existing and new regulations, alterations to existing regualtions and any audit or exam finding.
- Identify, assess, effectively challenge and oversee the satisfactory resolution of issues, including ensuring adequate management remediation plans and validation.
- Partner with program owners, subject matter experts and all relevant stakeholders to understand requirements (e.g. laws, regulations, guidelines, policies) of compliance, enterprise programs and products.
- Lead a team of four Director/ VPs.
What you require:
- 10 years relevant experience in Compliance, AML or Sanctions.
- Prior managerial experience, ideally 4 years.
- Solid understanding of the US AML/ Sanctions regulatory framework.
- Strong communication, planning and project management skills.
- Excellent ability to investigate, analyze, and interpret data as well as state and federal regulations.
- Experience and comfort working in an ever-changing industry and the flexibility to quickly react to changing demands.
Salary : $180,000 - $225,000
