About the Role
In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. You’ll oversee multi-state, biweekly payrolls for both internal and external employees, mentor payroll specialists, and collaborate with leadership to resolve complex payroll challenges.
Responsibilities
- Process biweekly payrolls, including a mix of exempt and non-exempt employees across multiple states.
- Provide mentorship and support to payroll specialists.
- Collaborate with leadership to address and resolve payroll issues efficiently.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all payroll-related processes.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail and problem-solve proactively.
Qualifications
- 5 years of payroll experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced skills).
- Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of delivering accurate outcomes.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing accuracy.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in education or high-volume temporary staffing.
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now and/or Xero is highly advantageous.
