Job Description
My client is seeking an experienced Process Control Engineer to join their team on an initial 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Emerson DeltaV and proven experience in the chemical or refinery industries. This role involves providing technical expertise to support process automation, ensuring optimal system performance, and contributing to the success of ongoing operations and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain Emerson DeltaV DCS systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement process control strategies to optimize plant performance.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to identify and implement improvements.
- Support commissioning, startup, and modifications of control systems as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
