This position will oversee our affiliate marketing and marketplace strategies to expand our reach, drive sales, and increase brand visibility. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e-commerce ecosystems and a proven track record in managing complex partnership networks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Affiliate Program Management : Oversee the affiliate marketing program, including recruitment, onboarding, relationship management, and performance evaluation of affiliates. Utilize platforms like Impact Radius, Rakuten, or similar to manage affiliate partnerships.
- Marketplace Strategy : Develop and manage sales strategies for prominent online marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay, ensuring our products are well-represented, compliant, and optimized for sales.
- Sales Channel Optimization : Continuously analyze sales data to optimize product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional tactics across all third-party channels to improve sales performance and profitability.
- Partnership Growth : Identify new affiliate (influencer) and marketplace opportunities, negotiate deals, and forge partnerships that align with Hammacher Schlemmer’s brand identity and sales goals.
- Performance Metrics : Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like conversion rates, average order value, return on ad spend (ROAS), and customer acquisition costs (CAC) for both affiliate and marketplace channels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with the digital marketing team, merchandising, customer service, and inventory management to ensure seamless operations and product availability across channels.
- Compliance and Brand Integrity : Ensure all products listed on external platforms meet our brand standards, legal requirements, and marketplace policies. Address any issues regarding product representation or customer feedback swiftly.
- Budget Management : Manage the financial aspects of affiliate and marketplace budgets, ensuring cost-effective strategies while aiming to increase sales and margins.
- Technology and Tools : Leverage and stay current with affiliate marketing and marketplace management tools, ensuring our tech stack supports efficient operations and insightful analytics.
- Training and Support : Provide training and support to internal teams on best practices for marketplace and affiliate sales, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
