Metal Shop Warehouse Worker

SUMMARY Individual will use various techniques that will include but are not limited to parts prep, truck loading, machine assistance, warehouse organization, warehouse cleaning among other duties as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, however, other duties will apply.)

• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse
• Load trucks
• Prep parts for Powder Coating
• Ability to use hand tools
• Have computer knowledge for order processing
• Forklift experience required
• Provide excellent customer service
• Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout facility
• Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment
• Be able to work cohesively with the rest of the staff
• Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast pace environment
• Demonstrate ability to work independently without daily supervision
• Willingness to be trained in multiple areas of the warehouse

Additional skills prefered:

• Welding
• Press Brake
• Laser (Tube & Plate)

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to move or transfer products with a forklift. Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those and employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.

SHIFT SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 6am-3pm with some occasional overtime.

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work. Must also be able to pass random drug testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
