We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Host/Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and possess strong communication skills to effectively manage guest interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and ensure efficient seating arrangements.
• Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods, communicating wait times clearly to guests.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Uphold high standards of customer service in alignment with our hospitality values.

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred, enhancing your ability to provide excellent guest services.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• A genuine desire to help others and create memorable experiences for guests.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering positive guest relations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
