Job Title: Logistics & Warehouse Manager

Job Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the flow of inventory between our warehouse and three store locations (Rhinebeck and Pine Plains, NY, and Great Barrington, MA), receiving freight shipments from vendors, and coordinating all customer deliveries. The Warehouse Manager will lead a team of warehouse staff and collaborate closely with other departments to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations Management: S
• upervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, receipt of freight deliveries (ensuring quality control and proper documentation), coordination of weekly inventory shuttles to our three store locations
• Furniture Delivery Management: Oversee and schedule local and regional customer deliveries, ensuring timely and professional service.
• Team Leadership: Manage, train, and develop warehouse staff, ensuring they meet performance goals and maintain safety and operational standards. Collaborate with store teams to
• Inventory Control & Reporting: Oversee inventory management and reporting practices, including stock tracking, auditing, and conducting regular inventory counts to maintain accuracy and reduce discrepancies.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Help develop and manage the warehouse budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality service.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role within a warehouse or distribution center. (3 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
• Ability to lift and move furniture and heavy items as needed.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, regular hours with occasional overtime as required.
• Warehouse environment, with exposure to heavy machinery and large storage systems.

Salary Range: $55-$65K Depending on experience

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
