A high-end bakery located in Downtown Charleston that is renowned for exceptional quality and artisan pastries is looking for a customer service associate with .
This individual will be the face of our bakery, delivering a high standard of service to our valued customers. While prior experience in a bakery or pastry shop is preferred, it is not required. We value individuals who bring excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a dedication to customer satisfaction. Shift will consist of a 9:00am-4:00pm on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Position Overview:
- Assist with daily bakery operations, customer engagement, and shop responsibilities.
- No prior baking experience required; training provided.
- Must have a great attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to create a welcoming experience.
Customer Engagement & Service:
- Provide a friendly, upbeat experience for every customer.
- Assist customers with questions, orders, and recommendations.
- Communicate effectively via phone, email, and in person.
- Ensure every order is correct and delivered with care.
Bakery Support & Production Assistance:
- Assist with basic baking, cake preparation, and finishing touches (training provided).
- Help with ingredient prep, packaging, and daily readiness.
- Maintain quality control standards.
- Assist with inventory checks and restocking.
General Operations & Teamwork:
- Keep the bakery clean, organized, and running smoothly.
- Work efficiently and collaboratively with the team.
- Be adaptable and pitch in where needed.
- Be open to learning new skills.
