Hammond & Associates is an established 35 Year MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, & Fire Protections) consulting engineering firm headquartered in Plantation, Florida, with offices in Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, and Palm Beach. This position is for our Atlanta Office.
Reporting to the company President, we are looking for a MEP Managing Director position with a minimum of 10 years' experience in Mechanical and / or Electrical Building Systems Design. A candidate will only be considered for a position that has experience in the field of MEP Engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships, ensuring that Hammond is providing best-in-class service, driving established project management practices in a way that ensures project profitability, and developing / retaining a high performance team
Job Responsibilities
As a MEP Managing Director, your primary responsibilities will include :
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding specific revenue, profit goals and company objectives within the assigned market
- Define / refine operational KPIs that drive bottom line growth, drive accountability of performance against metrics
- Provide strategic input to the company leadership team.
- Collaborate with other Managing Directors, sharing knowledge, tools, and resources to cross-sell services and products.
- Work closely with Director of Business Development, supporting direct sales efforts including proposal generation, closing new projects, contract negotiations, and developing and maintaining client relationships
- Build and support a highly engaged and collaborative work environment, by recruiting & retaining qualified technical production and project management staff
- Focus on ensuring technical excellence of project delivery and providing expert resolution of issues
- Maintain clear communications with staff concerning operational practices, goals and objectives, performance, and enterprise awareness
