This full-time, grant-funded position is perfect for those who want to work directly with individuals seeking positive change in their lives.
In this role, you will provide career guidance, group workshops, and personalized counseling to students in HCSO’s education programs. You'll help participants create and implement tailored Career and Education Plans, guide them through challenges, and follow up with those who complete their GED to ensure they take the next steps toward workforce training, college, or other opportunities. You’ll also administer testing and support both custodial and community students at our Main Institution in Ludlow and our All-Inclusive Support Services center in Springfield.

Key Responsibilities :
- Provide career and education counseling to students, both individually and in groups.
- Assist students in developing Career and Education Plans.
- Track GED completion and help with post-GED transitions, including workforce training and college enrollment.
- Administer GED practice tests and MA Adult Proficiency Test (MAPT) for students.
- Support students at both the Ludlow and Springfield locations.

Work Schedule : Monday and Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and Wednesday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Main Institution, Ludlow; Tuesday and Thursday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., at All-Inclusive Services Center in Springfield.
