The Hampden County Sheriff’s Office is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to be a Nursing Supervisor at the Western Massachusetts Regional Women’s Correctional Center in Chicopee. The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for clinical operations and the medical intake process, including triage; medical evaluations; assessment of all incoming clients and inmates; recognition of signs and symptoms of intoxication and/or acute withdrawal; and providing emergency medical services in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures. There is a $27.50 per hour weekend shift differential.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3-11 p.m.; to include weekend coverage when needed.
Education Bonuses will be paid in December for the following degrees:
Master’s Degree - $3,250
Bachelor’s Degree - $2,750
Associate's Degree - $1,750
Weekly Shift Differential:
$3.00/hour 3-11 p.m.
$3.50/hour 11 p.m.-7 a.m.
Annual $750 Deportment Allowance
