The Sponsored Programs Assistant will provide administrative support to the Assistant Dean for Grants and Faculty Development in managing sponsored projects, including prospect research, proposal development, award compliance, budget tracking, and project closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in researching public and private funding prospects and developing strategies for securing external funding.
- Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets to track grant awards and related activities.
- Provide support for grant writing, including reviewing proposals for compliance with application instructions and performing other tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the Business Office and project directors to ensure timely and accurate reporting to grantors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Previous experience in grants management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
