LOCATION: Minnechaug Regional High SchoolJOB TYPE: School Calendar Year, Full Time Position SALARY: Per the Unit A ContractJOB DESCRIPTION: Work cooperatively as a two-person dynamic nursing team to assume the responsibility to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate the delivery of school health services.Specific responsibilities include: Perform treatments/procedures, First Aid, and administer daily and prn medications according to MD orders/school and DPH policy/protocols/proceduresMaintain accurate up to date health recordsMeet requirements of DPH/DESE health regulations for immunizations, health screenings, concussion protocol, communicable disease surveillance, and field trip planning and preparationCollaborate with administrators, teachers, and other staff as part of an interdisciplinary approach to ensure student health and wellness in the school settingDevelop and revise individualized health care and emergency plansAttend faculty and nurse staff meetingsFall Sports Registration.
