We are seeking a Chiropractic Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the office running smoothly.

Front Desk Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction: Greeting patients as they arrive, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and addressing any questions about the services offered.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Managing the office calendar, booking new appointments, and handling cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Record Keeping: Updating patient files, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed before and after treatments.
  • Check-In/Check-Out: Assisting patients with signing in, explaining procedures, and ensuring they understand post-treatment care. Ensuring smooth transitions from one stage of care to the next.
  • Communication: Liaising between the chiropractor and the patients, as well as coordinating with other office staff to ensure patient flow is efficient.

Billing Responsibilities:

  • Insurance Verification and Claims: Checking patients' insurance coverage for chiropractic services, verifying eligibility, and submitting insurance claims accurately.
  • Patient Payments: Processing payments for services rendered, handling co-pays, and offering patients information on payment plans, if necessary.
  • Invoicing and Follow-Up: Preparing invoices for patients, following up on unpaid bills, and addressing billing inquiries or disputes.
  • Coding and Documentation: Ensuring that proper medical coding is used for chiropractic services to facilitate the accurate submission of claims and reimbursement.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
  • Familiarity with medical billing procedures (not required but a bonus)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

A chiropractic assistant in this role is vital for patient satisfaction and office efficiency. They must balance administrative duties with hands-on patient care, ensuring that patients receive quality service while also ensuring that the business side of the practice (billing, scheduling) is running smoothly. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills are key in this position.

Salary : $15 - $17
