Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Hampstead Internal Medicine. We provide excellent, service focused primary care to adults. We believe that mental health is an important part of primary care and are seeking a Psychologist to help lead an integrated program to provide mental health services to our patients. This is a chance to LEAD and grow your practice with on site physician support and psychiatric consultation. Excellent evidence based patient care is the #1 requirement. As this job grows it will also include supervision and support of LCSWs/LMHCs.
Responsibilities
- Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders using standardized tools (PHQ-9, GAD-7).
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnosis, and treatment to adult individuals.
- Provide brief behavioral interventions using evidence-based techniques such as behavioral activation, problem-solving treatment, motivational interviewing, or other treatments as appropriate.
- Track patient follow up and clinical outcomes using the AIMS registry.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, including crisis intervention when necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and support.
Skills
- Strong background in behavioral health practices.
- Knowledge of adult and geriatric psychological issues.
- Expertise in PTSD care methodologies.
- Expertise in treatment of ADHD.
- Expertise in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder.
- Expertise in the treatment of substance abuse issues.
- Ability to provide clinical counseling with empathy and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
