What are the responsibilities and job description for the Afternoon Front Desk Agent position at Hampton by Hilton?
Hampton Inn-New Phila is currently hiring for a Front Desk Associate.
Hours are 3pm-11pm 3 days a week with every other Friday & Saturday. Possibility of more when other staff request off.
Job responsibilities include:
Greet and assist guests during arrival and departure by providing courteous service. Check in and Check out guests. Respond promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, cancellations, and complaints. Take reservations. Modify or cancel reservations.
Maximize room revenue and occupancy levels through suggestive selling techniques to fill unoccupied rooms.
Handle the departments accounting system of money, receipts, guest accounts, and other forms of credit and operate the department’s cash register.
Perform light clerical and cleaning duties including receiving incoming and outgoing mail and packages, faxing, photocopying, and bookkeeping, and keep front desk space clean and orderly.
Act as manager on duty when manager is not available.
Maintain information and communication sources such as room inventory, lost and found log, communication log book, and hotel directories.
Operate switchboard to handle customer inquiries, wakeup calls, and rerouting calls.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
