Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to provide seamless service during busy shifts, particularly during banquets and catering events.
- Engage with guests, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, assisting in ordering as necessary.
- Demonstrate knowledge of brewing techniques and various beverage types to enhance guest experiences.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or upscale environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, brewing methods, and beverage pairings.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential.
- Excellent math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
