Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement effective budgeting strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining quality service.
- Oversee revenue management strategies to optimize room rates and occupancy levels.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently across all departments.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment.
- Coordinate night audits and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Address guest complaints and feedback promptly to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote hotel services and special events.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, and food service.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management is essential.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred to enhance communication with diverse guests.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with resort operations is a plus.
