Scope: The houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and general appearance of public areas and corridors of the hotel all while providing friendly guest service.

Major Responsibilities:

· Stocking and rotating linen closets with supplies and linen

· Maintaining shelf organization in the storage areas

· Cleaning furniture, elevators, glass, planters, etc. in the public areas such as lobby, pool, public restrooms, fitness area, guest laundry, and corridors

· Sweeping and mopping stairwells.

· Removing trash from all public area and office waste cans

· Receiving/counting all deliveries and storing items appropriately

· Mopping tile floors in public areas

· Maintain cleanliness in vending rooms – mop floor, empty trash, wipe down machines

· Completing basic maintenance repairs per work orders.

· Delivering special request items such as cribs, cots, towels, ozone machines to rooms

· Provide a 15 minute response time to guest requests that directly affect guest comfort, needs, or security (TV, HVAC, plumbing, light bulbs/fixtures, door locks, etc.)

· Picking up trash from parking lot and landscaped areas.

· Landscaping tasks such as mowing grass, weeding, shoveling sidewalks, salting grounds, and watering plants

· Moving furniture for deep cleans

· Quarterly mattress flips

· Drive guests to airport via shuttle (where applicable)

· Set up/tear down/refresh conference room per agenda

· Maintain order in pool and fitness area – replenish towels, cups, water, as needed

· Responsibilities will also include any task assigned by Manager on Duty

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour
