Housekeeper/Laundry

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services to ensure a high standard of hospitality. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping management, with a strong focus on providing exceptional service in a hotel or hospitality environment.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies while performing custodial duties.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping management or related fields such as hotel or hospitality services is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
