Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Conduct floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Utilize industrial cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
- Follow established housekeeping procedures and protocols to maintain consistency in service delivery.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry materials.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within the hospitality or hotel industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be physically capable of performing duties that require standing for long periods, lifting moderate weights, and performing repetitive motions.
