Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all spaces are clean and well-maintained.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other linens as required while adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products in guest rooms and common areas and storage rooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning tasks or seasonal preparations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial services, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights (up to 25 pounds).
- Knowledge of floor care techniques is beneficial for maintaining various surfaces throughout the facility.
