What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Hampton by Hilton?
`HIRING IMMEDIATELY! Apply in person Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm for an immediate interview! Hiring 3 positions in Housekeeping/one crossed trained position to do Housekeeping and relief Breakfast Attendant when needed, and laundry when needed. Duties:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
Skills:
- Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and products
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management skills
