What are the responsibilities and job description for the PA/Housekeeper position at Hampton by Hilton?
This job is for a public area cleaning attendant housekepeer. The schedule will be part PA and part housekeeping. Please do not apply if you are not interested in both roles. Both fall under the housekeeping department.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Perform general housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Change linens and make beds in guest rooms
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms and public areas
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Manager
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety standards
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks accordingly
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to cleaning protocols
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary
