Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous testing and inspection processes. This position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance principles, familiarity with ISO 9001 standards, and the ability to perform quality audits effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform quality audits to assess adherence to established quality standards and procedures.
- Analyze data from inspections and tests to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for accurate measurements.
- Collaborate with production teams to fabricate solutions for identified quality issues.
- Implement and maintain HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols to ensure food safety standards are met.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities.
- Assist in training staff on quality control processes and best practices.
Skills
- Proficiency quality standards and management systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Experience with QA/QC processes and methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and tools, including calipers and CMM.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across departments.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
