Quality Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous testing and inspection processes. This position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance principles, familiarity with ISO 9001 standards, and the ability to perform quality audits effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough quality inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform quality audits to assess adherence to established quality standards and procedures.
• Analyze data from inspections and tests to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for accurate measurements.
• Collaborate with production teams to fabricate solutions for identified quality issues.
• Implement and maintain HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols to ensure food safety standards are met.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities.
• Assist in training staff on quality control processes and best practices.

Skills

• Proficiency quality standards and management systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
• Experience with QA/QC processes and methodologies.
• Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and tools, including calipers and CMM.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across departments.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
