The Palencia Club is seeking a Facilities and Building Maintenance Technician to join our team!
Pay: Starting at $19 an hour
The position is full-time with benefits package including medical, vision, dental, 401k, and paid time off.
The Palencia Club in St. Augustine, FL., features an 18-hole Arthur Hills-designed championship golf course. Job purpose
Provide Members, Guest, and team members with facilities and an environment which is in well maintained order, which includes the interior and exterior of the buildings.
Duties and responsibilities
- Performs repairs and maintenance and ensures cleanliness of all facilities.
- Manages contracts and contracted services that pertain to the maintenance of the facilities.
- Oversees operation of mechanical and power equipment utilized in the maintenance of the facilities
- Monitors restrooms, offices and storage rooms and perform maintenance procedures as required to ensure safe and sanitary conditions
- Completes reports as required
- Ensures compliance with all Health Department regulations
- Responds to emergency after-hours problems and alarms
- Completes daily, bi-weekly, weekly and monthly task lists
- General repair tasks to include plumbing, electrical, painting, woodworking, etc
- Monitors and maintains equipment and operating and cleaning supplies
- Protect the assets of the Club.
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Two years of facility maintenance experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
