What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Maintenance position at Hampton Inn and Suites Pryor?
Upkeep of all private spaces, building exterior and public and back-of-house space, as well as maintenance duties. Clean and maintain all interior and exterior corridors and public areas in accordance with all housekeeping procedures and standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Maintain general condition of the building and surroundings at all times walking the property regularly
· Maintain general knowledge of all types of mechanical equipment including chillers, boilers, water softeners, and refrigeration equipment, plumbing and electrical systems, and hotel shuttle
· Monitor supplies & maintain working order of tools and equipment
· Maintain a clean and safe working space
· Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with all monthly, quarterly, and yearly inspections are done timely, accurately, and responded to as appropriate
· Maintain pool and spa, performing chemical testing and maintaining up to date logbooks
· Respond to guest requests and complaints timely, efficiently, appropriately and in a friendly manner
· Maintain professional image at all times through appearance and dress
· Follow Company policies and procedures and effectively communicate them to subordinates
· Complete deep cleaning or preventative maintenance as assigned
· Follow Company policies and procedures
· Clean all public areas in accordance with brand standards and management, including, but not limited to hallways, elevators, service areas, stairways, etc.
· Report any missing/found property, damage or mechanical problems to management
· Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
· Report guest issues and complaints to management or supervisor in a timely manner
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
· General knowledge in technical crafts (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) is required; an ability to advance knowledge in these areas
· Proficiently speak, and comprehend the English language; ability to speak other languages in a multicultural work environment can be extremely helpful in facilitating good communication among all hotel team members
· Able to work independently with minimal supervision and desire to participate as part of a team
· Able to work in fast paced environment
· Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
· Knowledge of maintenance operations and procedures
· Knowledge of proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
· General knowledge of equipment such as vacuums, commercial washers and dryers
· Demonstrate genuine care for guests and employees
