Summary:
The purpose of the Room Attendant is to maintain and improve the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel and grounds both for our guests as well as our team members.
Position Description:
- Clean assigned rooms following the standards set by brand and management company
- Clean and inspect common areas as well as back of house locations
- Continue to learn safer and more efficient ways to clean all areas
- Follow time allowed per tasks based on direction from manager
- Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of the property and submit
Recommendations: repairs, painting & furnishing.
- Other duties as assigned or as needed to create Signature Moments for our
Guests.
- Report and record all lost and found items that are recovered during shift
- Communicate with direct supervisor any challenges or department needs
Position Requisites:
- knowledge of housekeeping standards and policy’s
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize well to meet deadlines
- Behaves with integrity, honesty and is open with guests and fellow associates.
- Develops effective working relationship with fellow associates, managers, outside
Representatives and agencies.
