Housekeeping and Laundry Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in guest rooms and laundry areas, ensuring a pleasant environment for our guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will play a vital role in enhancing the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Launder linens, towels, and other items according to established procedures.
• Clean guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and sanitized.
• Manage the sorting of laundry items for dry cleaning and regular washing.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Restock cleaning supplies and laundry materials as needed.
• Follow hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order.

Skills

• Proven experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to operate laundry machines and dry cleaning equipment effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for interacting with guests and staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
