We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in guest rooms and laundry areas, ensuring a pleasant environment for our guests. Responsibilities
- Launder linens, towels, and other items according to established procedures.
- Clean guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and sanitized.
- Manage the sorting of laundry items for dry cleaning and regular washing.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Restock cleaning supplies and laundry materials as needed.
- Follow hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety standards.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to operate laundry machines and dry cleaning equipment effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and staff.
