Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in residential or commercial settings. The Housekeeper will ensure that all areas are sanitized, organized, and presentable for clients or guests.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and clean for use.
- Manage custodial tasks in both residential and commercial environments, adhering to safety protocols.
- Prepare rooms for new guests or residents in hotel or residential settings, ensuring all amenities are stocked.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping is not mandatory.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products suitable for various surfaces (e.g., carpets, floors).
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on sanitation and cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift and move items as necessary during cleaning tasks.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned duties within specified timeframes.
