Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are laundered, dried, and pressed to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience in our hotel environment.
Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers according to manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
- Launder hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing with care, ensuring all items are cleaned thoroughly.
- Sort and classify items by color and fabric type before washing.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for delicate or specialty items.
- Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and work surfaces.
- Fold, hang, or package laundered items neatly for distribution.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management promptly.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role within a hotel setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
- Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods during shifts.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
