Maintenance Technician Part-Time

Job Summary:
Are you driven, eager to learn and looking for a new exciting career path? We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hampton Inn Bellevue in Nebraska. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of the hotel's physical facilities, equipment, and guest rooms. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time hours based on business needs. Experience is extremely beneficial, but not necessary as we are willing to train the right individual. 

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $15 to $19 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This position also offers paid biweekly with the potential for full-time hours in the future. Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting and plumbing repairs
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or hotel staff
• Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are in good working order, clean, and presentable
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to identify and address any issues or potential hazards
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks
• Help to create a safe and welcoming environment for guests and fellow employees
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance performed

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior maintenance experience in a hospitality or similar setting
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
