Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to optimize operations, maximize revenue, and ensure brand standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a diverse team of department heads and staff. Foster a positive, collaborative culture that drives top-notch service and employee satisfaction.
- Guest Experience: Champion the “Hamptonality” spirit by maintaining high customer satisfaction scores, responding promptly to guest feedback, and continuously enhancing the property’s overall reputation.
- Financial Oversight: Manage property budgets, forecast revenue and expenses, and track performance metrics to achieve financial goals. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality service standards.
- Brand Compliance: Ensure compliance with Hilton brand guidelines, including operational procedures, safety protocols, and quality assurance audits.
- Sales & Marketing: Partner with the regional sales teams and local community stakeholders to execute revenue-driving initiatives, maintain corporate and group business relationships, and increase market share.
- Community Engagement: Represent the property in local events and foster relationships within the Birmingham community, promoting the hotel’s presence and reputation.
Qualifications
- Experience in Hospitality of progressive hotel management experience, ideally within a branded, select-service or full-service environment.
- Leadership & Communication: Proven track record of effective team leadership, employee engagement, and strong interpersonal skills. Financial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, interpret financial reports, and execute cost-control strategies. Brand Awareness: Familiarity with Hilton brand standards and hospitality best practices is a plus. Problem-Solving Mindset: Keen attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and a proactive approach to addressing guest and operational issues.
