Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure restrooms are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning tasks or event setups.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift and move items as needed.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
