The Hampton Inn Richmond-North/Ashland (Magnolia Hospitality) is located near Randolph Macon College in the charming, college- town of Ashland, Virginia; just a few miles south of the King's Dominion amusement park. Our property has just been awarded the "2022 Hilton Award of Excellence" for performing in the top 5% of the over 2,000 Hampton Inn hotels. Our property is well-known in our area for its cleanliness, but most importantly for our amazing staff!
HOTEL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Hilton or Hampton Inn front desk experience is preferred, but anyone with hotel experience is welcome to apply! (Works on PEP Operating System, not OnQ.)
POSITION SUMMARY: The hotel operates on a 24-hour schedule with the standard 7a-3p, 3p-11p, & 11p-7a shifts. We are currently looking to hire someone who is able to work 7a-3p and 3p-11p based on the needs of the hotel.
Guest Service Agents are responsible for:
- Greeting guests as they are encountered throughout the hotel.
- Processing guest check-ins and check-outs; efficiently and accurately.
- Issues room keys, answers questions, and resolves guest requests in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state and local regulations.
- Processes guest bills and collects payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures.
- Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items and safety hazards to management.
- Keeping the front desk and lobby area clean during your shift.
Requirements:
